The Instrument Error app
The channel has a small private app: its own production tool. It runs on the channel owner's computer, it is not offered to the public, and nobody else signs in to it.
The app uses YouTube API Services to read the Instrument Error channel's video details, public statistics (view, like and comment counts) and YouTube Analytics reports, such as engaged views, average percentage viewed and subscribers gained. Those figures are used only to judge which videos work.
Its permissions are read-only and cover the owner's own channel. It collects no data about viewers or any other Google user.
The privacy policy sets out what the app reads, where that data is stored and how access is revoked. The terms of service and the YouTube Terms of Service apply to the app.
